"Rutherford Wolf"
by  Thomas Hischak

Once upon a time in a woods far away...

lived a mother pig with her 3 little pigs who wanted to go off and be independent.

The first pig builds his house out of straw but is afraid when a wolf wanders in...

Rutherford Wolf is lost and...

only wants directions, but the pig is still scared because the wolf sneezes and his house falls.

The second pig builds his house out of straw...

Rutherford again tries for directions, but allergies once again blow a house down.

Meanwhile Peter is hunting wolves--but he hears warnings from a Bird and Duck.

Little Red Riding Hood decides to join Peter, the Duck and the Bird.

And off they go.

Before Little Red gets to Granny's house, Rutherford finds another house and hopefully directions.

But Granny is afraid and runs off.

Rutherford decides to take a nap, but is discovered.

Rutherford hides on the roof of the third pig's house--made of brick.

Peter and Grandpa want to shoot the beast.

But Pig three is the voice of reason.

Rutherford is able to explain the allergies and the map and only wants to get to the city.

All listen...

...the story unfolds to a logical end.

And they all live happily ever after.

Yes, "The End".

Cast and crew have a successful performance at Regionals and State One Act.
